RoHS : What is RS doing?

In 2003 we identified all of the products in our range that would be affected by RoHS.

Since early 2004 our RoHS project team has been collecting compliance data from over 700 suppliers.

This compliance information is now visible to you when you search for and view products on our web site.

You will also see compliant, non-compliant and exempt symbols on the web order form, alongside relevant products. See how to find the compliance status of RS products.

Many suppliers have not yet stated when their products will be made compliant. As soon as this information is available it will be displayed on this web site and the products flagged accordingly.

We have been working with a number of leading industry experts to identify and understand the implications of RoHS. This guidance will be available via the RS website.
